Ah, you got to love the British weather haven’t you!? But by the same token there is nothing that beats the British determination to put on a good show and have a good time. This was the case with Aylesbury’s Hobble on the Cobble 2010 in heart of Buckinghamshire.
Yours truly was not able to photograph this years event because I was busy with photographing the second of two weddings that weekend, however a recent addition to the Music Photographer ranks, John Parish, was there to put his Canon 7D to …
Mr Daltrey is a true legend, and it is my honour to display these photos of the the great man on my blog. These photos were taken with a Nikon D300 & a basic Nikon D40x using a combination of Nikon’s 24-70mm F2.8 and the 70-200mm F2.8 AS-F VR.
On stage, Roger Daltrey was on form. The man has obviously been performing for years but his energy and enthusiasm never wavered. It was just a shame I could not have been nearer the front of the stage; it was a modest …

Hedge Funds Support of Heroes.
Last night was a very special evening. It was about the “blokes out there” saving lives and doing a great job for the Armed Forces. This photographer certainly believes they are the true heroes, not those attention seekers on television.
Funkify were the night’s live band entertainment. They invited me to photograph their event last night. It was a great night; the band were really rocking out the place and the guests really seemed to enjoy it. I’ll upload more photos a bit later, for now I’ve …
In the first part of the Red Bullets at Silverstone, I thought it would be appropriate to start with the drummer Mark Edwards. I hadn’t seen Mark in a while but when I did find him in the camp sight he looked different, a bit more confident perhaps. In light of the Mark Wheeler and Kyle Hall leaving he seem reassured that the new band members would fit in comfortably.
What I like about Mark is he does like to be photographed, although I did remind him of that time he …
In my most humble opinion , it’s my website so I can say what I like , you have two choices as an up and coming band; be an originals band where you write, arrange and perform your own songs, or you are a covers band. An originals band have their own problems to hurdle the main one being most people have not heard of their songs. With a covers band you face another difficulty in that the audence will know the songs you sing, they will know it …
A great sound from a sharply dressed band! They had a great sound and the lead singer had a good presence. Below are just a few of the photos I took from their live performance at Rickmansworth Festival. This is the kind of photography I enjoy!
Check out their website (which is pretty cool) on www.colvex.co.uk
I was invited along to the Rickmansworth Festival on Saturday by Wired. I was there to cover their performance off and on the stage.
Since Wired were headlining I also had quite a few bands playing before them, one of them was a Ska band called True Beat. I was very impressed with their stage performance and couldn’t help getting some shots which I’m proud of. Let me know what you think!?

I’m actually preparing for another shoot today but I am still excited from last night’s performance by legendary folk guitarist Clive Carroll. I’ll work on his actual photos later but for now I’ve just compiled a few ‘behind the scenes’ shots from Southcourt Studios. If you recognize yourself, then leave a comment!
There are only a few moments in life that as they are happening you just know you will never forget, tonight was one of those moments for me when I heard the lush sounds from Mr Clive Carroll. I’ve actually just got home, I’m archiving the files as I type, but I wanted to give a very small sneak peek from tonight.
