The lads invited me to photograph them on a huge stage set in the beautiful backdrop of Waddesdon Manor. Honestly I have never seen such an amazing place to set a concert! The lads only had a 20 minute set so they had to win over the crowd very quicly and they didn’t let the audience down. They could only fit in 4 songs; 3 new tracks from their work in progress second EP and the cover of My Sex is on Fire.

The lads did themselves proud, the whole time I was with them several listeners came up to them and expressed how much they liked their music!

All they need now is a lucky break. Well done Lightbox.

After a very hectic day with emails, wedding plans and trying to UN-STRESS my friends it was quite comforting to know I would be photographing one of my favourite bands Lightbox. I’m very tired right now as it’s 1.18AM and I need to be fresh for Kelly’s Wedding later today. I’m very excited for her, but I’m not entirely sure she realises that I WILL be a photographer first and a guest second….

In the meantime, I took this testshot as the Lightbox lads were sound chceking and I think it would look quite provokative as an Album Cover.
