Canon’s ARE more popular than Nikons

A few months ago I had a problem with my battery for my D300 so I sent an email out to my friends to see if they had a D200 which uses the same battery. To my surprise all of them near me used Canons! It was very difficult to find Nikon users anyway.
Today, I discovered on the very popular Digital Photography Review just how much more popular Canon are. The list below does include point and shoot cameras. If I were to buy a compact camera then I would choose Canons.
