Most of you may not have heard of Slashed Seat Affair; to be honest I hadn’t until the summer of 2008 when this gorgeous band unassuming band played an awesome set that knocked me away!! I was shooting local Gigs in Aylesbury; I did a bit of homework by visiting their MySpace page before I went to the gig to see what Slashed Seat Affair were like. I immediately liked them but that didn’t prepare me for how they play live!

Fast forward a few months and they invite me to photography the filming of their single Forget You; once again I was speechless.

Now, after all their hard work they have released their first single; I have had the privilege of listening to a pre-release album for a while now and Forget You still sounds as fresh as the first time I heard it. It’s classic sound and timeless catchy riffs match Ellie’s heart felt voice. For such a petite woman Ellie sure can move the soul of even the darkness emotions.
