Darren, the Soul of Slashed Seat Affair
Every great band needs someone to pull everything together with maturity and strength of character. Darren unites the band as well as displaying an energy that you wouldn’t normally get from bass players. As well as an awesome bass player, he’s also the “go to” man. Whenever there have been any issues or questions then he’s the man who can resolve them.
Photographically, Darren always brings wonderful guitars to the table; they are always works of art. When shooting the solo portrait photos in the bus I asked Darren if he was more comfortable with the bass or not and naturally he replied it feels better with it.

At this point, and I’m sure Darren won’t mind, I have to give a massive thank you to the day’s Producer Katie for being the “go to” girl on the day. Without her cooperation I could not have taken half the shots I did.
