A suprise shot from the MK4U festival, Milton Keynes

6 July 2009 No Comment

It’s almost amazingly random how I ended up at MK today; just by reading Tom Craven’s wall post on Facebook I found myself preparing to shoot for a festival with little preparation.

I fully expected to get some great shots of local amateur bands, but what I could not have foreseen was the amazing clouds that appeared towards thee end of the evening, nor could I have predicted the sun bursting through those clounds, even more surprising was a mother and her child passing through my shot just as I clicked the shutter to get this photo!

I am normally very harsh with my photos, I’m hardly ever completely satisfied with the shots but I surprised myself when I looked at in on the back of my Nikon and went, “Nice!”.  I hardly ever think that.

So, I wish to thank Golf, Oscar, Delta for the amazing weather and the mother and child for being the subject of a photo that I will no doubt print, frame and hang up!
