It is difficult to explain to almost everyone I talk to why I do Gig Photography when I say to them there is no money in this for me when photographing small, local, unsigned bands. I know all start up bands struggle financial because they sacrifice most of what they have to get notice, but more importantly be noticed by the right person.

I devote part of my time to Gig Photography because it is damn good fun. It isn’t about money, not at this stage anyway. At Aylesbury festival I saw a band called Tramp Etiquette; 5 lads who are are hungry to be successful in music and it really shows in there performance.

The lead singer Joe Payne is everything you need from a front man; energetic, charming and bags of confidence! The rest of the band were equally as proficient in their craft giving the Kingsbury crowd something to warm up.

I wish the lads best of luck and every success. I know there are people out there who don’t get it, who really do not understand the craft of being a musician; those people would learn alot from Tramp Etiquette.
