Paul Jackson at Aylesbury Festival.

24 July 2009 4 Comments

You may not have heard of Paul, but there was a time he was making a lot of noise as part of a 3 piece band called the Swamis.  I absolutely loved the energy from that band and I really wanted them to do well, however all good things must come to an end (and they were really good). The Swamis disbanded in early 2009 and all was quite in Buckingham…

We all thought they would sort their differences but it wasn’t to be, so it was a real pleasure to see Paul, who played lead guitar, come back to Aylesbury as a solo artist on the Sitar! Even though he played one piece the whole of Kingsbury Square was mesmerized by the spice of culture he bought to an otherwise Western Festival.

Personally, I am very glad he’s resurfaced and just as amazing as ever. I hope he continues to bigger and better things, and I certainly hope to see him again!
