Kajagoogoo headline Hobble on the Cobble. Exclusive photos.
Kajagoogoo arrived backstage to Hobble on the Cobble, swarmed by an army of a crowd awaiting their turn to get a glimpse of the band. They were slightly jaded by time, but still have the attitudes of young hungry rockers.
The expectant crowd were not disappointed as they walked on the stage. They were met by a exuberant cheer as they started their set.
Terry and I were limited to the first two songs (one short of the standard three) so it did add a bit of pressure to get worthy photos. I know Terry really enjoyed the added pressure having done a few limited time shoots before. All four of our Nikons blistered through the photos as we gathered all the angles. Between Terry and I, we had a 70-200mm, the workhorse 24-70mm, 18-200mm and the Fisheye 10.5mm. The only lens we were missing was the one attached to the Hubble telescope up in space!
The other photographers almost seemed static compared to us!! However, I am renowned to dart around when the pressure is on!
It had been a hard long day, but Kajagoogoo and Limahl made the wait worth it. We loved it, the Aylesbury crowd loved it, bring on Hobble 2010 we say!

aah cool, wish i could have seen them! did they sing too shy??x
