When I first saw that Monte Carlo were playing at Aylesbury’s Hobble on the Cobble I was excited as I had previously heard them when they were ‘Fluid Lines’ and was eager to hear if they had changed anything else…

Their sound was still as energetic and capturing as it was and their new name reflects their new approach, regardless of the limitless stories they’ve told different people about the real reason for their name change; I was silly enough to fall for one of them – thanks Calum!

Their cheeky smiles and comments immediately gives this band the like-ability factor.  Monte Carlo are a group of lads who definitely entertain a crowd, and evidently enjoy themselves at every moment!

I’ll be keeping an eye on Monte Carlo’s upcoming gigs and looking forward to seeing their recent recording of their video partially revealed on their myspace, http://www.myspace.com/montecarlouk
