The Original Sinners. The Old Skool shows the new kids how it’s done at Hobble
I love it when something surprises you with something totally unexpected. Take this band who call themselves The Original Sinners. That is quite a name (and reputation) to live up to. Now take into consideration the members of this band look like they are very close friends with Mr Jack Daniels!
It’s not often that I’m surprised, but I certainly enjoy it when I am. The Original Sinners came on and just blasted Aylesbury with a wall of sound, when the crowd picked themselves up they were presented with an onslaught of rock riffs, heavy bass and Thunderous drums. On TOP of all this, the lads were giving it their all!

IMAGINE yourselves pretending to be Rock Gods or Guitar Heroes at home in your living room, rocking it out!! These guys were doing it for real!! They absolutely loved it up on the stage. Gigphotographer could not help but just stop and stare as they pounded the stage, shaking the metal frames. I swear even the windows in the square were going to surrender at some point!
I hope we have managed to capture just a bit of their energy and their love for performance. It is bands like The Orignal Sinners that make concerts like Hobble on the Cobble worth coming to. I’ll be honest, I think the headline act were in The Original Sinner’s shadows …

Love 16,13,14 & 15
What awesome pictures, the drummer sat at the side of the stage was a revelation (i was the on stage sound engineer and missed that being on the other side of the stage. And yes for my money The Original Sinners were the best band of the day.
Excellent set of photos!
Good to see Dave Axford (drums) putting in his usual amount of effort! Are you coming back to The Brahmas any time soon Dave? ;-D
Thanks guy. I do like getting feedback, luckily it’s been positive so far
