Last year, I was invited to a Drummer’s book launch. It was a modest affair but a good turn out in West London. The drummer, Phil Page, put on a great show and the evening was a big hit.

I am a drummer myself so for me the biggest star was the drum kit itself. I can’t describe how big the setup was, but I did not was an opportunity to photograph the kit from Phil’s point of view. The only way to fit it all in was to use the Nikon 10.5mm Fisheye lens.

It turns out that Phil may want me to photograph his wedding in December; we met today and he told me how he really liked that photo.

Since this all happened before Gigphotographer.com was launched, I wanted to share that photo with you again here.
