Phew, it’s been hectic. Sooo much to do this week but I finally edited the last band. They’re called Bridgefield, a 5 piece band with a firey lead vocals and a dynamic bass player. He was just so much fun to shoot because he really looked like he was enjoying and giving me a lot of movement to frame through the lens.

Over the weekend I took a mate out hiking; apparently he had never been hiking before! It was an easy 12 miles, nothing technical at all. I took out my trusty Nikon and packed my Fisheye lens and my 18-200mm. My friend wasn’t really sympathetic to the fact that I wanted to take loads of photos but not snaps, so a few times he just went ahead and I caught up But it was an absolute hoot so I’m planning another route very soon.

I play badminton regularly, so I wanted to try out my new Nikon Fisheye 10mm to see how it would before shooting fast action, contrasting lighting conditions and see what opportunities it opens to my photography.

I recieved my new lens yesterday and like a kid with a new toy I just had to test it out. So I went into town to find the largest thing I could, and behold a might crane was in town!

It’s one of those “do I really need these” kind of purchase, it’s almost £400 but when it can produce results like this below, then I do wonder why I haven’t got one already…then I think, “Oh yeah, it cost £400!!”
