Kit Holmes at Aylesbury.

Infectious with her charm and playful in her performance. That’s how I would describe the wonderful Kit Holmes.
On a night at Southcourt Studios there was an air of the unexpected. I arrived as Kit was completing her sound check. I confess I had not heard of ms Holmes before but that is the joy of going to small gigs. Last time I saw a live gig was Clive Carroll and that was an experience I will always remember.

Jazz…the smoothest kind of smooth.

Gigphotographer was lucky enough to spend a day with jazz musicians. Yes I did have a dozen things to do, but because things have been very hectic lately I made a deliberate effort to slow my life down. And with that I spent a lazy Sunday afternoon with Jazz Juice. Five very talented musicians who just know how to melt those notes on the page. Five instruments that are as individual as they are united in create a free flowing rainbow of sound.
